Learning How to Zoom

First of all, thank you so much for trying this new thing! We all have a lot to learn, and it is so good to actually see your faces during this time of physical isolation. This blog should help you learn how to get on Zoom for the first time. If you are still having issues, call our home, my cell, or Patrick’s cell and we will do our best to get you connected.

The following tutorial is from www.theformingspirit.org

Clicking the links on www.tri-saints.org at the scheduled time will bring you into a meeting on a video conferencing platform called Zoom.

If you are joining on a tablet or smartphone, please download the “Zoom” app in advance.  It is free, and you don’t need to sign in to join a meeting.

The Android app looks like this:

The iphone/ipad app looks like this:

If you are joining on a computer, the software you need will automatically be downloaded.  Click “yes” if asked for permission.

Though the link will automatically start your software and take you toward the meeting, you may need to choose “Join with Video”  to make your final entry and then choose “Computer audio” or “Internet audio,” in order to hear what is happening. You may also be prompted to enter your name. In order to conserve bandwidth and help things run smoothly, please remain muted unless you are speaking. If there is a large gathering, you may also be asked to turn off your webcam for the same purpose.

Again, please let us know if you need technical assistance. If you are unable to connect, worship will be recorded and a video posted to www.tri-saints.org

We can’t wait to see you online soon!

In Christ,

Pastor Breen
